Lessons Built Around Understanding Music
Much of piano instruction remains focused on reproducing isolated pieces without fully explaining the harmonic structures underneath the music itself.
Private study is centered around scales, chords, inversions, harmonic function, and the larger structural relationships that appear repeatedly across real music.
Rather than relying entirely on memorization, the goal is to gradually develop a deeper understanding of how music behaves at the keyboard through pattern recognition, harmonic awareness, and long term fluency.
